So it seems NBC have cancelled the third season of “Last Comic Standing” with a single episode to go before the winner was to be announced.
They should have known they were in trouble when Barry and I got so fed up we stopped watching. I mean we love a good stand-up, but the voting on this show was just so wrong. Wrong, wrong WRONG! How the hell Dat Phan ever won the first season of this show I wil lnever know. And John Heffron from season two was definitely nowhere near as funny as most of the other comics in the show. So, they were hanging by a thread in my mind going in to this third season, and the voting just pushed me over the edge. I’m not even sure the voting can be as stupid as the results– I think the show might be fixed.
And while I’m handing out accusations based on fact, I’ll go on record as declaring that Spanish and Itialian are actually the same language!
So, NBC looks like they are really not doing well this season. Poor peacock. On the other hand, ABC have two really good new shows in “Lost” and “Desperate Housewives.” “Lost” is like Survivor meets “Land of the Lost” which is a prety sweet combo. “Desperate Housewives” is destined to become a gay camp classic.
